I’m a stay at home mom of two young boys. It hasn’t always been this way though. I met my husband 10 years ago. He moved in with me the first year we met. We were two young adults just trying to get by. We both worked full time jobs and barely making ends meat. Within our first four years together my father had passed away at a young age from a heart attack.
My husbands mother lived half way across country, so we got the bright idea to move and start fresh. Well that’s exactly what we did. We sold everything we owned to rent a U-Haul to take our necessities with us. She had a place we could rent until we got on our feet. Our family was small, it was now just the two of us. I just relocated to a place where I knew absolutely no one. I had never felt so alone.
Within the year of moving we tried to expand our family. With no luck after a year of trying my husband and I got married on 11-11-11. Our big wedding day I was so excited. As years are passing by I am working in this new town and slowly meeting people. My husband and I are making friends but we still had a loneliness that filled our home.
To make a very long story short, finally after 8 years of being with my true love, I read a positive pregnancy test. I was so excited I called him at work to give him the news. After having our first child and the age of 30 I decided to take a year off of work to stay at home and enjoy my bundle of joy. Within that year I realized that I couldn’t rely on anyone to watch my child and then bam!!! The day my baby turned 8 months old I found out I was pregnant again. I am now the Proudest mother of two boys, two under the age of 2.
As a stay at home mother now, I feel I have the best job in the whole world. I have never been one to stay home, so to fill my time I love doing crafts and projects. I’m also all about saving money. Hey, we are living on one income and recently bought our first home. I’m here to share my adventure, my ideas, and any way I can to save a buck or two. I’m new at this! This is my first blog so please bare with me. I cant wait to see what this adventure holds!
