Family Day Trip For A Toddler

Everyday seems to be a hustle. Even as a stay at home mother I still seem to work from daylight to dark. With summer coming to an end, I knew we needed a family day trip. We weren’t able to take a vacation this year with the birth of my youngest son. My oldest is 19 months so we wanted to do something that he would enjoy. With funds limited we decided to stay close to home. We go to the park regularly so we decided to step it up and take them to the local fish hatchery. My worst fear was him running and jumping in with the fish. He amazes me everyday though. He did outstanding. He walked beside Daddy the whole time as I pushed his brother in the stroller.

My youngest had nothing to do with the fish of coarse but he just enjoyed being out of the house.

After letting my toddler feed the fish and walking around, we stopped by the park on the way home. By the look on his face I can honestly say that today was a huge success. We all had a blast and enjoyed every minute of it.
