Caramel Apple Cupcakes

What you will need:
A box of white cake mix (2 eggs, 1/2 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil)
White Icing
A 20 oz can of apple pie filling
Crushed Nuts
Caramel Topping
Cupcake Wrappers
Green food coloring
To make the cake mix: Combine the box of White Cake Mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup water and 1/3 cup of vegetable oil. After you have blended the batter with your mixer add the can of Apple Pie Filling. Make sure this is very well blended. The apples are big and you want them blended into very small pieces. Apply your batter to your cup cake wrappers and fill 3/4 full.
Bake the cupcakes until they are brown on top at 350 degrees. They should take around 10 minutes. Poke the center with a tooth pick. When the toothpick comes out clean then your cupcakes are done. Let them cool completely.
Next I just added green food coloring to the icing.
After the cupcakes cool completely, I added a layer of caramel to the top of the cupcake. I then added the icing around the caramel to help hold the caramel in place.
I proceeded to add the icing, covering the top of the caramel. I sprinkled crushed nuts on the icing and drizzled caramel over the top of the icing and the nuts. There you have, Enjoy! 😊
