Turkey Gravy Over Biscuits

Every year after the holiday dinner, I look forward to the leftovers. The next morning I always use the left over turkey to make Turkey Gravy over Biscuits. This recipe is fast and easy, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

First I take 3 cups of milk and heat on medium, in a pan or a skillet. As the milk is heating, I add one tsp. of butter. Once the butter is melted, I added salt & pepper. Now I usually add these according to taste, but I would say roughly around 1/2 tsp. of salt and 1/2 tsp. of pepper. You can always add more if you wish. Once this has heated thoroughly I add flour to thicken up the gravy. Depending on how thick you like your gravy determines how much flour to use. I used roughly ,a little over 1/2 cup.

After the milk has heated thoroughly, I add the shredded turkey. Please remember to stir ever few minutes so your gravy does not stick to the bottom of your pan.

Continue to stir your gravy on medium heat until the gravy thickens.

While my gravy is cooking, I’m also baking biscuits. Frozen or not, doesn’t matter, this choice is up to you. Bake the biscuit until golden brown.

Serve your Turkey Gravy hot over biscuits. There you have it folks, a perfect meal that can be served for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Enjoy!!

If you make this recipe, I would love your feedback. Please tell me how yours turned out!
