What Everyone Ought To Know About the Pumpkin Patch

As crazy as it sounds, no one in my family has had the pleasure of visiting a pumpkin patch. This Saturday was our first family fun adventure to finally go and see what all the excitement was about. We took Grandma, Grandpa, and my nephew to join in on the fun. If you’ve never been to one, I’m going to tell you why you need to add it on your Fall to-do list.

What Everyone Ought To Know About the Pumpkin PatchThe pumpkin patch that we attended was a fun way to spend time with the family. There were many activities for both adults and children. We spent a lot of time trying to find our way through a corn maze and we all rode a tractor hay ride to visit the pumpkin patch. At the patch was also a mining station where you could mine for jewels, and a corn hole game for the family.

It’s also a fun time for the kiddos. The kids enjoyed riding the train ride made from barrels, playing in the corn, and jumping in the bouncy house. Some other activities that they did was play on a pumpkin playground, went down the slides, raced in a hamster wheel race, and played in a jail house. They also had bunnies, pigs, and a horse that the kids really enjoyed viewing. After enjoying all the activities and festivities it’s a great place to have a picnic with your family. We ate before we went, but they supplied picnic tables for those who wish to eat there. To wrap up the day your kiddos can pick out their pumpkins and you can carve them together when you get home. The pumpkin patch was an overall great experience that we all enjoyed. My kids will defiantly be talking about it for a while. Grandma and Grandpa really enjoyed themselves as well. The pumpkin patch was a great way to spend the nice fall day with 80-degree weather. Visiting the patch was on our toddlers check off list, so we can finally check this one off.
